The Service Agreement confirms that Greenventure Skills Hub Pte Ltd referred as GVS provides services to your organization, referred to as the client, as outlined in the terms and conditions herein. In this agreement, mentions of “works,” “services,” and “training” pertain to the specific training detailed in the quotation for training enrolment.
Scope of training services by GVS:
WSQ Courses:
- Designing and developing WSQ training programs based on industry requirements and standards.
- Conducting training sessions and assessments in accordance with WSQ guidelines.
- Managing WSQ certification processes and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of WSQ courses through feedback and performance metrics.
- Collaborating with industry partners to align WSQ training programs with current industry trends and needs.
Non-WSQ Courses:
- Identifying training needs and designing customized non WSQ courses to address specific skill gaps.
- Developing course materials, lesson plans, and assessments for non-WSQ training programs.
- Delivering training sessions using a variety of instructional methods and technologies.
- Evaluating the impact of non WSQ courses on participants’ skills and performance.
- Collaborating with subject matter experts and industry professionals to ensure the relevance and quality of non WSQ training offerings.
By delineating the scope of work for both WSQ and non-WSQ courses, a training center can effectively plan, implement, and evaluate its training programs to meet the needs of learners and industry stakeholders.
Payment
- All course fees must be paid in full immediately upon receipt of this invoice. This invoice does not constitute confirmation of your registration until payment is received.
- We reserve the right to release your reserved slot(s) for the course if payment is not received five (5) business days before the course commencement date.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations received at least five (5) business days before the course commencement date will be eligible for a refund of 80% of the course fee.
- Cancellations received within three (3) business days of the course commencement date will be eligible for a refund of 50% of the course fee.
- No refunds will be issued for cancellations received less than three (3) business days before the course commencement date or for non-attendance during the course.
However, trainees who miss the initial commencement date may still complete the course within the program timeframe provided they meet the minimum attendance requirement. - Processing of all refunds will be completed within seven (7) business days of confirmed cancellation.
Required Documents
All participants must present one of the following documents (original or photocopy) at the course registration:
- Identification Card with Passport (for International Participants)
- Work Permit / S Pass / Employment Pass (for Foreign Workers)
- NRIC / Passport (for Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents)
Rescheduling and Course Changes
Requests to change the course date or type will incur an administrative fee of $20 if made at least three (3) business days before the original commencement date.
Requests received less than three (3) business days prior will be considered cancellations and subject to the cancellation policy outlined above.
Important Notes
- This document does not serve as a Course Confirmation document.
- Singaporean/SPR participants applying for grants are required to utilize the Singpass
App for attendance tracking. Please ensure you have downloaded and set up the app
before the course begins.
Force Majeure
“Force Majeure” means an event occurrence or condition that is not foreseeable and/or unavoidable and beyond the control of the parties and includes but is not limited to:
- An outbreak of an infectious virus
- Haze, smoke and smog caused by a fire in neighbouring countries
- Flood, adverse inclement weather
- Any other event which will and may endanger the life or health of any person working on the premises
Either party will issue notification by email or letter on the cancellation of training due to Force majeure. Further notice shall be issued on the above if necessary, as to the length of suspension and continuity.
In the event of force majeure, none of the parties to this agreement shall be responsible to either party for any delay in performance. Neither Party shall be liable to the other for any damage, delay or failure of performance resulting directly from any circumstances beyond its control.
In the event that a dispute arises out of or in connection with this contract, both parties shall make every effort to resolve the matter amicably, whether through negotiation or mediation.
For the avoidance of doubt, referring the dispute to negotiation or mediation under this clause shall not be a condition precedent to arbitration. Nor shall it affect either party’s right to refer the dispute to arbitration at any time.
The Client/Vendor shall fully indemnify the Company against all liabilities, losses, damages, costs, and expenses (including legal expenses) incurred, awarded against, or paid by the Company as a result of, or in connection with, any of the following:
13.1 Breach of any warranty given by the Client/Vendor in relation to the Goods and/or Services.
13.2 Any claim that the Goods infringe, or that their importation, use, or resale infringes upon the patent, copyright, design right, trademark, or other intellectual property rights of any third party — except where such claims arise from compliance with specifications supplied by the Company.
13.3 Any liability under applicable statutes or laws currently in force.
13.4 Any act or omission by the Client/Vendor or its related persons in supplying, delivering, or installing the Goods.
13.5 Any act or omission by the Client/Vendor or its employees, agents, or subcontractors in connection with the performance of the Services.
13.6 Any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, judgments, suits, proceedings, actions, and associated costs (including full indemnity legal costs), expenses, penalties, and fines incurred or suffered by, or claimed against, the Company, including but not limited to those arising from:
Loss of or damage to any property (real or personal) of the Client/Vendor, any third party, or the Company;
Injury, illness, or death of any person (including employees of the Client/Vendor or any third party) occurring in connection with the performance of this Agreement;
Breach or failure by the Seller to perform any part of the Agreement;
Non-compliance with applicable laws by the Client/Vendor, resulting from any act or omission by the Client/Vendor — except where such consequences result from a negligent act or default of the Company.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company’s total liability under this Agreement — and under any applicable law — shall be limited to the amounts paid by the Company to the Seller for the supply of Goods and/or provision of Services under the relevant Purchase Order (PO).
The Company shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss or damage, including but not limited to loss of profits or economic loss, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Additional Requirements
- Participants are expected to dress professionally in long pants, shirts, and closed-toe shoes (safety shoes when applicable). Shorts, slippers, and sandals are prohibited.
- Certificates and/or passes must be collected within one week of the course completion date by the trainee or an authorized representative with a company letter. Uncollected certificates/passes (excluding e-certificates) will be discarded after one week. There will be an administrative fee of $15.00 per request for subsequent collection of certificates and passes.
